Ernolsheim-les-Saverne
Perched at the foot of the Vosges Massif, Ernolsheim-les-Saverne is set within the preserved environment of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park.
The village is surrounded by a generous forest, ideal for walks thanks to a network of trails carefully maintained by the Vosgien Club. Among them, the Archaeological Circuit invites exploration of the Savern heights' remains: the Roman road of Plattenweg, Mont Saint-Michel and its chapel, the Lagenthal Cross, and the ruins of Warthemberg Castle, perched on the Daubenschlagfelsen.
The charm of Ernolsheim-les-Saverne also reveals itself through its picturesque streets lined with typical Alsatian houses. These lead to a church whose choir and bell tower bear witness to its medieval past. The village comes alive throughout the year thanks to numerous associations offering a variety of activities for all audiences.
