European Institute of Ceramic Arts (IEAC)

Located in Guebwiller, the IEAC (European Institute of Ceramic Arts) offers a professional training program called "Creator in Ceramic Arts," designed for individuals committed to an artistic approach focused on ceramics.

This 12-month program aims to develop participants' knowledge, skills, and attitudes by combining a rigorous technical approach with awareness of contemporary issues in ceramic art.

Supervised by industry professionals, students receive personalized support to advance their practice.

The institute goes beyond initial training: it also organizes workshops open to the general public, local and international cultural activities, and residencies for young creators. An annual schedule of workshops, led by "masters" (artists, ceramists, lecturers), complements the curriculum by providing learning opportunities and encounters with recognized figures in the field. These events help enrich students' artistic vocabulary and broaden their creative perspectives. Finally, the IEAC regularly hosts exhibitions to showcase the work of participants and invited artists.
