Fellmann Cardboard Manufacturing

At the heart of Saint-Jacques dead-end, the buildings of the former Fellmann cardboard manufacturing company still remain. These structures are notable for their faux exposed beams and bay window, while workshops, storage sheds, and a chimney complete the site. The inscription "Deck" visible on the chimney and on a wall recalls that these premises also housed the Deck establishments, specialized in supplies for textile machines. This succession of different companies on the same site demonstrates the remarkable adaptability of the buildings.

Around this industrial site, the houses once occupied by the workers of these companies have since been demolished.
