Firefighter Museum

This museum, one of the largest in France dedicated to firefighters, showcases a prestigious and modernized collection in its own premises.

It continues and expands the legacy of the Mulhouse Firefighter Museum, which was previously housed at the Railway Museum from 1978 to 2003.

The museum spans two large halls, totaling over 2,300 m², and offers a visit structured around display cases, an audiovisual room, a shop, and a library. Visitors can discover around a hundred varied pieces of equipment, ranging from firefighting gear to unusual objects and historical clothing. The collection also includes wheeled vehicles, a complete telephone exchange, and public fire alarms.

Classified as a Museum of France, it houses an exceptional heritage of more than 260 vehicles, covering the period from 1648 to 1969.
