Fish Pass
The Community of Communes of the Molsheim-Mutzig Region has overseen the construction of three fish passes on the Bruche River.
The first structure was installed in Molsheim in 2007, near the fitness trail. These facilities allow fish to overcome previously impassable obstacles by swimming upstream.
Two other passes were created in Wolxheim and Mutzig, providing salmonids (such as brown trout), large migratory species (Atlantic salmon, sea trout), fast-flowing water cyprinids (gudgeons, loaches), and eels the opportunity to reach more favorable spawning areas.
