Fishing at Altenweiher Lake

Perched in the mountains, this 7.7-hectare lake, classified as first category, is a peaceful haven where tranquility is guaranteed. Its waters mainly host brown and rainbow trout, brook trout, lake trout, as well as perch and chub. Access is strictly reserved for pedestrians: vehicles are prohibited.

From Mittlach, the trail leads to the lake in 25 to 40 minutes on foot. Fishing is allowed under conditions: artificial lures and spoons are forbidden, except for fly fishing.
