Fishing at Kruth-Wildenstein Lake
Kruth-Wildenstein Lake, located in Haut-Rhin, is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts. Its waters are home to a wide variety of fish: pike, perch, trout, and carp are the main inhabitants, but many white fish can also be found. Classified as a first-category fishery, this lake offers ideal conditions for angling.
The fishing season runs from Good Friday until mid-October. The lake's fishery management is overseen by the Haut-Rhin Fishing Federation, which also participates in the reciprocity system.
To fish in this lake, a valid fishing license is mandatory. Two options are available: either an interdepartmental license (URNE, EGHO, or CHI), or an annual, weekly, or daily fishing license issued specifically in Haut-Rhin. These licenses can be purchased online at cartedepeche.fr as well as at authorized sales points.
