Fishing: Willow and Alder Ponds
Just 4 kilometers south of Thann, two ponds dedicated to traditional fishing await enthusiasts.
The Willow Pond, covering 25 ares, and the larger Alder Pond, spanning 76 ares, host a diverse fish population including carp, tench, perch, and roach. These waters are reserved for traditional fishing methods, particularly carp fishing. However, the use of boilies for fishing or baiting is strictly prohibited to preserve traditional practices and maintain ecological balance.
