Fluo Bike Rental Grand Est
Fluo simplifies your travel with a self-service electric bike rental service. Upon getting off the train, rent a bike for 14 consecutive hours and use it for all your trips throughout the day. The bikes are available directly in front of the station, avoiding long walks, bus waits, or costly taxis. This system promotes intermodality between train and bike, making the last miles of your journey easier.
The Altkirch station is located near the train station, on rue de l’Ill. By the end of 2025, 52 stations in the Grand Est region will be equipped with stations offering between 5 and 20 bikes. To locate the stations, check the dynamic map in the Vélo Fluo Grand Est app or on the Fluo website.
Bike reservations can be made up to 14 hours before your departure, ensuring availability upon arrival. However, reservations are not mandatory. To start your trip, scan the bike’s QR code via the app, then press the left brake to begin. During your rental, you can lock the bike at any time via the app: once locked, it is secured without needing a physical lock. At the end of your rental, return the bike to your starting station by attaching the two magnets to the previous bike.
