Former Cistercian Abbey of Lucelle

The history of Lucelle, once flourishing, can still be glimpsed through a few secondary buildings, as the abbey was completely destroyed after the Revolution. Today, only a park remains from this past, where children enjoy gathering.

The village is especially known for its preserved environment, marked by a lake classified as a nature reserve. A walk of about twenty minutes allows you to circle it on foot.

What makes Lucelle unique is also its geographical location, on the border between France and Switzerland, where the two cultures blend. You can enjoy, for example, the famous Swiss chocolate at the Hôtel-Restaurant Le Noirval. Finally, Lucelle is perfect for walks and hikes, with several loops accessible from the village.
