Former Colongère Courtyard of the Abbey of Eschau
On the upper floor of the building, the former pointed arch window, which was walled up during modifications in the 17th century, can still be seen.
Eschau, located near Strasbourg, was already a possession of Rouffach from the 8th century.
At the end of the Orfèvres dead-end street stands the 15th-century pointed arch porch, a remnant of the colongère courtyard of Eschau, thus bearing witness to the rich medieval past of this place.
