François Braun and Sons Cellars

Founded in 1583 in the heart of the village of Orschwihr, the François Braun estate covers 21 hectares and produces a wide range of Alsace wines, from sparkling to late harvest.

Among its offerings, the wines from Bollenberg, renamed "The B by François Braun," stand out with three grape varieties: Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir, all exclusively from old vines.

The estate benefits from a privileged location on the Bollenberg hill, a legendary terroir with a Mediterranean climate, unique geology in Alsace, and optimal sunshine.

This exceptional setting allows the production of three wines from fully ripe grapes, fully expressing the terroir's characteristics.

To preserve the soil, an alternating management system is applied: every other row is grassed while the other is plowed, limiting weeding, reducing erosion, and ensuring optimal accessibility of the plots in all weather conditions.
