François Schneider Foundation

Perched at the foot of the Vosges and near the Hartmannswillerkopf battlefield, in the village of Wattwiller, the François Schneider Foundation Contemporary Art Center unfolds its annual program around exhibitions and cultural events focused on the theme of water.

Established since 2013 in the walls of a former bottling workshop for thermal springs, the venue has been completely redesigned and expanded to accommodate three large exhibition rooms.

The building's architecture, designed to play with light and transparency, extends over more than 2000 m². Outside, a sculpture garden complements this space dedicated to contemporary art.
