This bright duplex apartment accommodates 2 to 6 people on the second floor of a detached house in Sondernach, a village perched at 600 meters altitude in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park.
Located 8 km from Munster, 28 km from Colmar, and at the foot of the Route des Crêtes, it is ideally situated to explore nearby ski resorts and numerous hiking trailheads.
The accommodation includes an entrance with shoe storage and coat rack, followed by a fully equipped open-plan kitchen: gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee and espresso machines, food processor, as well as raclette and fondue appliances. Kitchen utensils are provided.
A spacious bedroom with a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, and washbasin completes the floor. The living area, which can seat up to 12 guests, offers storage spaces, a wardrobe, and a spiral staircase leading to the duplex.
On the upper floor, a cozy lounge is furnished with a sofa, coffee table, flat-screen TV (TNT and satellite), hi-fi system, and offers a stunning view of the Hohneck and Petit Ballon mountain ranges. An open area features two single beds (90x190), storage, and a sofa bed with a Futon mattress for a fifth person.
The bathroom is equipped with a corner bathtub, washbasin, and storage unit, as well as a clothes drying rack and hairdryer. A separate toilet with storage space completes the amenities.
Central heating, adjustable by thermostat, ensures optimal comfort. Private parking is available, along with a barbecue, a covered terrace with a fenced green area including a permaculture vegetable garden for self-service, and a stone terrace at the back of the house.
Kitchen towels, blankets, and pillows are provided.
Bed linen and pillowcases are extra (€10 per bed). Wi-Fi is available free of charge on site. A mandatory end-of-stay cleaning fee of €40 applies.
Guest check-in is from 4 pm and check-out before 10 am, unless otherwise arranged. Pets are not allowed. Rentals are possible on weekends except during summer holidays, Christmas, and February holidays. A welcome drink is offered with each stay.
