Furnished La Tulipe des Vignes - La Cour des Capucins
Nestled in the heart of the Alsace vineyard and at the foothills of the Vosges, Molsheim is a historic town whose rich past is reflected in its religious monuments, iconic industrial sites, and artisanal traditions. Founded by the Carthusians, Jesuits, Dominicans, and Capuchins, it also witnessed industrial epics such as Bugatti and Coulaux, not to mention the heritage of local guilds like the Metzig and the winemakers. Despite the centuries, Molsheim has preserved its authenticity through its well-preserved architecture and unique terroirs.
La Cour des Capucins, a 16th-century Alsatian bourgeois house, embodies this harmony between tradition and modernity. Anne-Catherine and Guy Salomon welcome visitors to a fully renovated apartment combining contemporary comfort with tasteful decoration. The accommodation is named "tulip of the vines," in tribute to this flower that disappeared and was then revived by the region's organic winemakers, blooming again each spring.
Committed to sustainable ecological practices, the establishment was restored using environmentally respectful techniques. The apartment walls are coated with lime plaster extracted from a quarry in Dahlenheim, 7 km from Molsheim. The old wood used for the bedroom and bathroom comes from a dairy in Jura dedicated to Comté cheese production. Cleaning products are certified ecological, and guests have access to waste sorting and composting systems.
Rentals are available for a minimum of five nights.
