These two connecting apartments, located in a detached house in the village of Sondernach at 600 meters altitude, offer ideal accommodation in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park. Just 8 kilometers from Munster and 28 kilometers from Colmar, they are also at the foot of the Route des Crêtes, close to ski resorts and hiking trailheads.
The first apartment, on the first floor, offers living space suitable for five people. It includes a bedroom with a double bed with drawers, a small table and a wardrobe, a bedroom with two beds and a sofa bed as well as a washbasin area, another bedroom with two beds, a living room equipped with a leather sofa, an armchair and a flat-screen TV (TNT and satellite), and a bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer, towel warmer, washing machine and drying rack. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, raclette and fondue set, food processor, and hi-fi system. Central heating is supplemented by additional heating in the bathroom.
The second accommodation, on the ground floor, accommodates up to seven people. It consists of an entrance with storage for shoes and coats, an open-plan kitchen equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine and espresso machine, as well as a food processor and raclette and fondue set. A spacious bedroom with double bed, bedside table and dresser, plus a washbasin, complete the space. The living area, seating twelve guests, offers storage spaces, a wardrobe and a spiral staircase. The bathroom, equipped with a corner bathtub, sink and separate toilet with storage space, also has a drying rack and hairdryer. Upstairs in the duplex, a lounge with sofa, coffee table, flat-screen TV (TNT and satellite) and hi-fi system offers a stunning view of the Hohneck and Petit Ballon massif. An open area provides two single beds (90x190), storage and a convertible sofa with Futon mattress for a fifth person.
Outdoor facilities include private parking, a secure ski and bike storage room (with the possibility to borrow two bikes), a permaculture vegetable garden for free use, and a terrace with barbecue, tables, benches and garden chairs. Pillows and blankets are provided, while sheets and pillowcases are extra (10 euros per bed, to be specified when booking). Cleaning supplies, a vacuum cleaner, kitchen towels, bath mats, two bikes and free Wi-Fi are also available.
Check-in is from 4 pm (unless otherwise arranged) and check-out must be before 10 am (unless otherwise arranged). Rental is possible on weekends except in summer, during Christmas and February holidays. For stays, a welcome basket with regional products is offered free of charge.
