Giants and Monuments

This imposing mural, created by artists Vincent d'Onofrio and Sylvie Herzog, draws inspiration from theater decor with its curtains and stage to pay tribute to Lucien Dreyfus (1907-1996), an iconic figure of Alsatian theater.

The composition, unfolding from right to left, features several strong symbols of Mulhouse: the Lambert Column, the Schweissdissi, the emblem of the Mulhouse wheel, as well as the Bollwerk and Europe Towers.

These elements are carried by giants on stilts, adding a spectacular and theatrical dimension to the work.
