Gîte de la Liberté - Fanny and Gabin BEAUFAUCHET

The Gîte de la Liberté welcomes you to a charming 65 m² Alsatian village house nestled in the historic center of Rouffach.

This medieval town, nicknamed the "stork village," offers a peaceful setting while being ideally located on the wine route between Colmar and Mulhouse, at the foot of the Vosges mountains.

Perfect for exploring Alsace, this cottage allows easy access to vineyards, picturesque villages, and iconic tourist sites in the region. The house, designed for 2 people and accommodating up to 4 with a sofa bed (mattress included), features an open kitchen, a living room with dining area and connected TV, a spacious bedroom with a double bed prepared upon arrival, a bathroom with provided towels, and a equipped laundry room. An adjoining terrace with garden furniture allows you to enjoy meals outdoors. Practical amenities include a secure storage room for bikes or skis, bowling and pétanque games (boules court 10 minutes on foot), and free parking in front of the house. Nearby, you will find a bakery, restaurants (including takeout options), a convenience store, an open-air market on Wednesdays and Saturdays with local products, a pharmacy, winemakers' cellars, and the tourist office. Rouffach is a 20-minute walk from the bus station and TER train station. The surroundings are full of treasures: classified villages like Eguisheim, Kaysersberg, or Bergheim, the Alsace Ecomuseum, the Little Prince Park, the Automobile or Train City museums, stork parks, castles (Hohlandsbourg, Haut-Koenigsbourg), and numerous museums (Unterlinden, textile, toy, Electropolis). Nature lovers can also enjoy hiking or cycling on the many available trails.
