Gîte of the Ferme de la Bouille

Perched on the heights of Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines, within the Ballon des Vosges Regional Natural Park, the Gîte de la Ferme de la Bouille invites you to a peaceful stay, marked by the organic and traditional breeding of Vosgian cows. The Botter family welcomes you in a preserved setting, where landscapes of meadows and forests, shaped by humans for centuries, stretch as far as the eye can see.

You will be in close proximity to the family farm, with its laying hens producing eggs on site, its rooster whose crowing sometimes reminds you of its presence, and its vegetable garden cultivated according to organic farming principles. The fresh air, spring water, and breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys contribute to the relaxing atmosphere of this place. The spacious and functional gîte features a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, four bedrooms each accommodating two to three people, two bathrooms, and three toilets. In summer, the cows, adorned with their bells, graze freely around the gîte, enhancing the bucolic charm of the location. Note that access is via six kilometers of narrow mountain road followed by one kilometer of passable dirt track.

Although neither snow nor sunshine is guaranteed, this stay promises an authentic change of scenery in the heart of preserved nature.
