Grand Manège
The Grand Manège of Haguenau, erected in 1847, was designed to meet the needs of the cavalry regiment then stationed in the former Jesuit college.
The building is notable for its spacious hall, constructed of brick and sandstone, with large round-arched windows that let in generous light.
The wooden framework, supported by fourteen trusses spanning 21.50 meters, gives the structure both strength and elegance.
