Grünstein Castle

The lower courtyard of the Stotzheim castle, built in the 15th century, is notable for its moats that are still filled with water.

The main building, rectangular in shape, features a composite architecture resulting from several successive phases of development.

According to records, another castle may have existed on this site as early as the 13th century, known as Schollenhof, likely built on a feudal motte. Today, the castle houses guest rooms and is not open to the public, but it remains visible from the outside.
