Gschwend Family Beekeepers

The Gschwend family has made beekeeping their main activity, managing around 200 hives spread across Roderen, Soppe-le-Haut, and Sentheim. Depending on the seasons and blooming periods, some hives are moved to areas such as the Hardt, the plain, or the mountains, allowing them to produce a wide variety of honeys: spring flowers, all flowers, acacia, linden, chestnut, mountain, and fir.

Their production is sold directly at the family home by appointment, as well as in some local shops and markets, following a short supply chain approach.
