Gundershoffen - Griesbach - Eberbach - Schirlenhof - Ingelshof

The territory of Gundershoffen extends eastward into a landscape of hills, around the associated commune of Eberbach and the hamlet of Schirlenhof. It was here that the first battle of the 1870 war took place, between a French hunter patrol and a German patrol led by Count Zeppelin, the future pioneer of airships.

Despite notable development, Gundershoffen retains the authenticity of an Alsatian village.

In 1998, the company Bœhli, specializing in snack biscuits, established itself here. Today, the Bœhli Pretzel Factory invites visitors to explore the origins of this company and trace the history of the pretzel, a culinary symbol of the region.
