Hallebardier Fountain

The fountain at Place de la Réunion, topped by a statue of a halberdier, is an exact replica of the original 1572 fountain.

Nicknamed Stockbrunnen, meaning "the column fountain," it was reinstalled on this square in 1992.

At that time, the square became fully pedestrianized, ending its use as a car park, a function it had served since 1955.
