HAUSHERR Hubert and Heidi Wines
Located in Eguisheim, a historic village near Colmar, this family estate cultivates vines using organic and biodynamic methods.
Respectful of the plant and its environment, it favors manual work or the use of a draft horse to preserve soil quality, the foundation of this peasant agriculture. This attentive care promotes balanced vine development and natural resistance to climatic hazards and pests, ensuring healthy fruit and lively wines without additives during production.
In Alsace, a land of varietal wines since the 1940s, the estate chooses to continue a centuries-old tradition of mixed planting: grapes from the same named vineyard are harvested, pressed, and vinified together.
This approach produces true terroir wines that reflect the uniqueness of the soils.
The wines, bearing the names of the vineyards when regulations allow, or otherwise the name of a cuvée, pair elegantly with a wide variety of meals. They also add an original and gourmet touch to moments of relaxation.
