Hubert Reyser Estate

The family vineyard is now managed by Lionel Reyser, who inherited it after generations of passionate family members. Born and raised among the vines, he continues a tradition where every family member is dedicated. His father, Hubert, discovered his calling as a teenager by planting his first gewurztraminer, while his mother, Denise, specialized in wine marketing. Together, they carefully cultivate 11 hectares of vines, prioritizing an environmentally respectful approach and focusing on grape quality.

The vineyard's soils, shaped by the chaotic geological history of the Rhine basin's collapse, offer great diversity: clay-limestone, clay-silty, and limestone soils. This variety allows each plot to be suited to a specific grape variety. Thanks to these unique conditions, the grapes mature slowly, developing aromas of great finesse and remarkable typicity, reflecting the terroir and the family's expertise.
