Hunebourg Castle

Perched on a sandstone spur at 425 meters above sea level, Hunebourg Castle overlooks the commune of Dossenheim-sur-Zinsel. Built around 1125 by the Counts of Hunebourg, it later belonged to the Fleckenstein and Lichtenberg families in the 14th century. Today, the site is not open to the public, but its surroundings offer beautiful walks punctuated by breathtaking landscapes. Among the notable places to discover, the Love Cave and the Sentry Rock stand out for their beauty and stunning views.
