Jetterswiller

With only 190 inhabitants, Jetterswiller is the smallest commune in the Mossig and Vineyard community of communes. The village is home to the Saint-Pancrace church, rebuilt in the 18th century on an elongated plan, replacing a Gothic building. Its tower, covered with a pavilion roof topped by a ridge cross, features a door between the nave and the tower that could indicate an older structure refurbished or simply reused. Several 18th-century farms, typical of Alsatian architecture, remain in the village, including a stable and an adjacent barn from the same period. The former presbytery, now the town hall, bears a date engraved on its door indicating 1701 as the probable year of its construction.
