Jewish Alsatian Museum

This museum stands out for its original approach to telling the story of the Jews of Alsace. It does not merely display objects or documents: it creates an immersive experience of their daily life, highlighting the relationships they had with their Christian neighbors.

The exhibit, designed as an initiation, skillfully alternates modern techniques with ancient pieces, some of which are especially precious since much of the Jewish heritage was destroyed during the Holocaust.

It is a rare opportunity to discover a lesser-known aspect of Alsace, where three religions coexist, and to understand how this coexistence shaped the region's identity. Ideal for starting a visit to Alsace, it offers a unique perspective on its history and distinctiveness.
