Kibo Farm

The KIBO Farm is a 14-hectare estate located in Alsace, just 500 meters from the Ryumonji Buddhist monastery.

This site, accessible by car or public transport (nearby Ingwiller station), includes a ranch, a guesthouse, a large riding arena, and vast meadows, all surrounded by deep forest.

It offers a unique experience blending monastic life with ecological commitment. About ten people live there permanently in a monastic-style farm.

KIBO Farm is also a center for Zen tradition spiritual retreats, hosting short, medium, or long stays. It serves as a refuge for elderly animals or those from industrial farming. Additionally, it operates as a laboratory applying permaculture principles. Day courses are offered on various topics such as meditation, permaculture, self-awareness, voice and body, and relationships with animals.
