Klingenthal

Klingenthal, nestled in the Valley of Blades, takes its name from the Royal Manufacture of Bladed Weapons.

Founded in 1730 during the reign of Louis XV, this industrial facility marked the history of the region.

Along the banks of the Ehn River, forge hammers, sharpening workshops, workshops, and residential houses developed to form a unique factory village.

This industrial heritage reflects a time when craftsmanship and industry combined to shape the identity of this place.
