Knights' Cottage

This medieval cottage, nestled in a peaceful valley at the foot of the mountains and close to the forest, appeals to nature and animal lovers. Surrounded by hiking trails, it is just 15 minutes from the Wine Route, Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, the Eagle Aviary, and the Monkey Mountain. Europa-Park, voted the best park in the world, is an hour away, while Colmar and Strasbourg are 45 minutes away. All essential shops are 3 minutes by car.

The independent apartment, located on the second floor of the main house, accommodates 3 people, extendable to 6 with extra beds. It includes a bathroom with toilet and sink, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a single bed (and a second single bed on request), and a small living room with a sofa bed. The equipped kitchen (oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer) comes with dishes, and board games are available. Two rooms feature medieval decor.

The 80 m² cottage, spread over the first and second floors, has a terrace overlooking the horse and goat enclosure. A medieval theme permeates the decor, and family activities, both fun and educational, are offered: archery initiation, discovery of armor, knights, and daily life in the Middle Ages.

Free parking is available on site. Optionally, the owners offer unique activities: meeting the horses, medieval archery initiation, trying on armor (child-sized), or learning to start a fire with period tools. These activities, guaranteed to entertain young and old, are offered in the evening or morning.

The rate is €65 per night (excluding special weekends), cleaning included. A discount applies for a week’s stay (please inquire). The two cottages are connected to each other.
