L'Estampe
Founded in 1979, the L'Estampe gallery is located at 31 quai des Bateliers in Strasbourg. It stands out for its commitment to craftsmanship and respect for traditional techniques in creating its original engravings. Its collection is remarkable: over 4,000 engravings, paintings, and drawings signed by around a hundred artists including Combas, Klasen, Segui, Soulié, Erró, Di Rosa, Bogart, Coignard, Corneille, Waydelich, and Weisbuch. These pieces are accessible to both enthusiasts and professionals from many countries.
L'Estampe also preserves an old collection of engravings dating from the 15th to the 19th century. These works, often related to Strasbourg or the region, cover various themes such as botany, fashion, and history, offering a rich overview of the artistic and cultural evolution of these periods.
