La Cigogne en Vrac
Opened in 2022 in Oberhoffen-sur-Moder, La Cigogne en Vrac is an independent 100 m² grocery store entirely dedicated to more responsible, local, and packaging-free consumption. Séverine and Émilie, the two managers nicknamed "the Storks," welcome customers in a warm setting and advise them among more than 1,500 carefully selected products.
The offer is based on about a hundred dispensers offering bulk products, whether savory, sweet, or for cooking. Customers also find a nice display of organic, seasonal fruits and vegetables grown nearby. It is possible to order a weekly fresh produce basket, to be reserved before Friday.
The grocery also offers natural drinks, oils, vinegars, jars and boxes, as well as fresh products in refrigerated displays: dairy, charcuterie, and beverages. Cut cheeses, light meals, and more than 60 spices and herbs complete the assortment. A selection of teas, including brands like Jardin de Gaïa, and infusions is also available, as well as hygiene products for body and home, also in bulk. Gift ideas and reusable containers are offered to facilitate purchases.
The tea room area, accessible both indoors and on the terrace, allows for on-site tasting. The grocery is recognized for the quality and diversity of its offer, encouraging healthier and more sustainable consumption. Customers are invited to bring their own containers to fully enjoy this eco-friendly approach.
