La Closerie Takeoff Area

This paragliding takeoff area, named "La Closerie," is an official site of the French Free Flight Federation (reference no. 68D007A). Located at 1060 meters altitude with a southeast orientation, it offers suitable flying conditions, although caution is advised regarding the west wind which can be masked by the local breeze. The landing approach is marked by a telephone line and trees near the Bagenelles valley, where the altitude drops to 740 meters with the same southeast orientation. Activity is permitted daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., but only when accompanied by a member of the managing associations.
