La Filature Media Library

The media library, located at the heart of La Filature, is dedicated to the visual and performing arts. It offers a rich and varied collection: 7,500 DVDs for adults, 1,000 DVDs for children, 17,000 CDs, 3,600 classical scores, and 1,600 modern scores. The literary domain is also well represented with 7,000 books, including 3,500 devoted to theater and its techniques. Additionally, there are 800 prints, CD-ROMs, and specialized magazines covering cinema, music, theater, dance, circus, puppetry, and street arts.

Two computer stations provide access to the Internet and office software. Upstairs, a mezzanine houses a study room that can accommodate up to 50 people. Watching films on-site is possible thanks to two televisions available.

A reading committee dedicated to contemporary theater, called "Théâtrofil," is open to all lovers of reading aloud. This project was born from a collaboration between the media library, the national stage, and the Mulhouse departmental conservatory.
