La Lampisterie Cottage

The "La Lampisterie" cottage, nestled in Mertzen in the Alsatian Sundgau, welcomes you in a peaceful setting at the heart of a village known for its traditional carp and fries.

This house, built in 1910, has been fully renovated to combine old-world charm with modern comfort. Inside, the ground floor is arranged around a fitted kitchen open to the dining room and living room, complemented by a bathroom equipped with a shower and bathtub, as well as separate toilets. Upstairs, a relaxation area offers games and three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with a double bed and a single bed.

Bed linen and towels are provided on site. The cottage is close to several cities rich in heritage, such as Mulhouse (35 minutes), Belfort (35 minutes), Colmar and Basel (50 minutes), as well as Ferrette and Porrentruy (25 minutes).

It is designed to encourage exploration of the region while enjoying a private, enclosed, and quiet garden. On reservation, childcare equipment can be provided (baby bed, high chair, stroller, etc.). Pets are accepted subject to prior information. A few kilometers away, accessible on foot or via the bike path, the Maison de la Nature offers activities, and a playground is also available.

The cottage is ideally located along the Largue Valley bike route, which connects several major European cycling routes (EuroVelo 6, 5, and 15). Many hiking and mountain biking trails start from the cottage, including the GR 532 passing through Mertzen.

Any external visits or events must be approved in advance by the owners. The space is non-smoking, but ashtrays are provided on the terrace.
