Lac Vert

Perched at 1053 meters altitude in the Tanet massif, Lac Vert covers 7.2 hectares.

Its name comes from the reflection of the fir trees surrounding it and an algae that develops from late June to late July, coloring its waters a distinctive green. Sometimes, on Sunday mornings, the echoes of Alpine horns add a magical touch to this peaceful setting. Easily accessible, the site offers nearby parking: just take the road from Munster to the Schlucht Pass, then follow the forest road from kilometer 12.

A two-hour hike connects Lac Vert to Lac du Forlet via the ridges, providing an ideal walk to enjoy these preserved landscapes.
