Lake of the Ballon
Perched in the hollow of a mountain cirque, in the shadow of the Grand Ballon, this glacial lake covers 7 hectares.
Its current form owes much to the military engineering of Vauban, who built a dam to control its waters.
Today, this site combines the wild beauty of the Vosges landscapes with a peaceful and romantic atmosphere, making it one of the most popular spots for nature lovers and tranquility seekers.
