Laurent Vogt Wines Estate

The Vogt winery is located in the commune of Wolxheim, at the edge of the Alsace Wine Route, within the Strasbourg vineyard known as the Golden Crown.

This Alsatian wine town is renowned for its Riesling, produced from two exceptional terroirs: the Grand Cru Altenberg of Wolxheim and the Rothstein lieu-dit. The Grand Cru Altenberg, nestled against the limestone cliff of the Horn, yields wines that are refined and structured. Meanwhile, the Rothstein vineyard, facing south and protected by the former royal quarry, produces more subtle and elegant wines.

The estate covers 11 hectares with plots spread across Wolxheim, Avolsheim, Dahlenheim, and Molsheim. This diversity of terroirs allows for the production of distinctive, high-quality wines, respecting the standards of organic farming. The range includes classic Alsace wines, late harvest wines (Vendanges Tardives), Crémants d’Alsace, and natural wines. The estate also produces a range of eaux-de-vie.

The Vogt family welcomes visitors for free tastings and cellar tours. Groups of up to 30 people are also welcome, though these tours are paid. The cellar is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
