Lautenbach-Zell
Lautenbach Zell and its hamlet Sengern form a mid-mountain village nestled in the Florival valley, at the foot of the Grand Ballon massif, the highest point in the Vosges at 1,424 meters altitude. Located in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park and near the famous ridge road, this village is an ideal base for exploring mountain activities and leisure, including the ski resorts of Markstein and Grand Ballon.
The Vivarium du Moulin offers an immersion into the diversity of living creatures through about sixty living specimens: insects, spiders, millipedes, and other species have made their home in this former mill. This unique place is also the only mill on the Lauch still in operation today.
