Le Climont

Perched at 966 meters altitude, Le Climont stands out with its unique trapezoidal shape, making it one of the symbols of the Bruche valley. This must-visit site attracts visitors for its exceptional panorama, especially from the Julius Tower.

Built in 1897 by the Strasbourg section of the Club Vosgien, this 17-meter-high tower pays tribute to Julius Euting, a renowned orientalist and founding president of the association.

Le Climont also plays a major hydrological role in the region, serving as a true water tower. At its base, three rivers originate: the Bruche, the Giessen, and the Fave.
