Le Corbusier District in Dingsheim
Between 1968 and 1972, the town of Dingsheim saw the creation of its first housing development inspired by Le Corbusier's architectural principles.
Architect Monsieur Présenté designed four house models, totaling 83 units. Among them, 41 featured flat roof terraces, while 42 were organized around a central patio.
All the buildings were designed to open directly onto a large shared lawn, promoting harmonious integration with the outdoor space.
The proportions of the buildings and spaces were determined according to the Modulor, a measurement system based on the golden ratio, a central concept in Le Corbusier's work.
