Le Krappenhummel Natural Site

Perched on the southwest slope of the Schiebenberg limestone hill, at about 276 meters altitude, the Krappenhummel overlooks the Bruche valley.

This natural site, located about thirty kilometers from Strasbourg near Dinsheim-sur-Bruche, is distinguished by its very dry grasslands.

These areas shelter remarkable flora, including orchids, and are set within a landscape of rural hedgerows and edges. The Krappenhummel thus offers a preserved environment where botanical richness blends with an open view of the valley.
