Le Lieu d'Europe

Le Lieu d’Europe is an educational and awareness space about European citizenship, open to all.

Its goal is to promote knowledge of Europe and strengthen the sense of belonging to a community of shared values. Through a permanent exhibition, a resource center managed by the Information Center on European Institutions, and rooms dedicated to meetings and discussions, it fulfills several missions.

It informs visitors about European institutions, the continent's history and its ties with Strasbourg, as well as current EU affairs. It encourages the building of European citizenship by fostering exchanges and debate. It also aims to bring citizens closer to European institutions and promote the values of democracy, peace, and human rights. Finally, it highlights the cultural richness and diversity of European countries.
