Le Rangenberg Natural Site
Perched above the hill and the wine trail of Dorlisheim, the Rangenberg natural site rises along the Alsace wine route, about twenty kilometers from Strasbourg. This hill, classified as a protected area, is integrated into the heart of the local vineyard and is distinguished by its varied landscapes: sunny dry grasslands and shaded undergrowth coexist harmoniously. The site hosts remarkable biodiversity, including several species of wild orchids, reflecting the preserved ecological richness of this area.
Below, towards the plain, the Puits d’amour is a picturesque point of interest. A natural spring flows here, framed by a stone trellis and some fruit trees, offering a peaceful and shaded spot for a refreshing break.
