Lehmann Distillery

Founded over 170 years ago in Obernai, Distillerie LEHMANN is the oldest distillery in Alsace. Its artisanal expertise, passed down through five generations, was recognized in 2012 with the Living Heritage Company (EPV) label. In the early 2000s, it made history by producing one of the first French whiskies, and for more than thirty years, its spirits have regularly won awards at the Paris Agricultural General Competition.

The distillery is open Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. To explore behind the scenes, guided tours of about 1.5 hours are offered by reservation. These tours, led by a team member, allow visitors to follow the production steps of the spirits: fermentation, distillation in the stills, and aging in the cellar. The visit ends with a tasting of various products, including Alsatian and French whiskies, brandies, gin, liqueurs, ratafia, and vodka.

The tour costs €8 per adult over 18, including tasting. Access is free for minors. Information, availability, and reservations are available on the distillery's official website.
