Les Grès de Remmy Pottery (PAGA)

Founded in 1594, Les Grès Remmy is the oldest family-run ceramics business in France.

Located in Betschdorf since 1820, it chose this site in the French Ardennes for its local kaolinite, ideal for salt vitrification.

Today, the workshop maintains artisanal expertise while incorporating modern techniques such as Raku ceramics and primitive firing.

These methods produce pieces with coppery metallic sheens or warm golden tones.

Their reputation was highlighted by the Routard guide in 2017.
