Livestock Market Square
Until the early 20th century, Haguenau was the scene of a particularly dynamic livestock market. On busy days, especially in September, more than 1,000 piglets were offered for sale. These young animals stood alongside large cattle, contributing to the liveliness and diversity of this iconic regional trading place.
