Ranked seventh among the Rhine's developments, this site commissioned in 1967 combines a lock, a dam, and a closure dike. Together, these infrastructures form a heavily used cross-border road bridge connecting France and Germany. This boat passage, essential for Rhine navigation, also plays a key role in exchanges between the two countries.
